We are down to our last Chocolate Guiness Cake at The Teahouse so Carol is busy cooking a new batch as I write this. The smells from the kitchen (which is next to the office) are divine, plus knowing how good they taste is gastronomical torture. I have been so good I have limited myself to two slices so far in 2026 but I feel that in June I will be enjoying another slice (or two). This looks so good to eat!

We have a mixed 'bag' of weather for the next few weeks including; sunshine, thundery showers, drizzle and light rain so we will be doing less watering as the ground will get some much needed water. But possibly not enough to compensate for the dry weather we have been experiencing, any rain is good at the moment though. 'Good' rain is needed and I now understand this term for gardners.
